Orientation:

Introducing a new ergonomic cheek piece designed for modern shooting styles (tripod, PRS, NRL)

Description:

Most stocks have a poor interface for shooters when positioning their cheek on the rifle. This often causes shooters to cant their head to achieve a proper sight picture. This is undesirable for shooters who want to stay square behind their rifle: can produce neck strain and fatigue, make consistent cheek welds difficult, and the dominant eye and face are also not square behind the ocular lens. The ergonomic cheek piece aims to solve these issues.

Features:

  • Comfortable profile, for either cheek or chin weld.

  • Fully adjustable for each shooter, can be:

    • Shifted left and right

    • Canted side-to-side

    • Raised or lowered - from 0” to 0.875” with included aluminum spacers

    • Angled vertically up or down by using different height spacers (MAX ± .25”)

  • Bolts can be removed at any height without removing the cheek piece (short action, long action is untested).

  • Made from a solid, impact resistant and vibration dampening material (MJF Nylon 11)

  • Weighs less than the stock hardware by ~½ an ounce.

  • Fits all Long Range Hunter models: LRH, LRH-SC, LRH-NV

Includes:

  • Ergonomic cheek piece

  • Aluminum spacers: 0.125” (x2), 0.25” (x2), 0.5” (x2) - additional spacers are available at AluminumSpacers.com

  • Stainless steel bolts: 1.25” (x2), 1.5” (x2)

  • Hex key

Installation:

Try different combinations of spacers until you find desired height, cant, and angle (to add vertical angle, have the front or rear spacer shorter/taller than the other by up to 0.25.” - any larger and cheek piece will not mount properly). DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. You want it good and snug, but don’t overdo it.

Weight with 0.5” spacers and 1.25” bolts: 1.9oz (2.4oz for factory)
